I came back from a short vacation and it seems that every tree in the neighborhood put their leaves in my back yard. From patio edge to garden edge, as far as the eye can see, leaves.
Do I rake and bag?
Do I mow it into mulch?
Do I leave it for the spring?
It's like a choose your own adventure book.
I think I'll go with adventure three.
It's too shitty out to actually rake! That's just crazy talk. I've been working for a while now on the "leave it till spring" option for my own yard....
ReplyDeleteIt can be pretty hard on your grass, the whole, leaving it til spring approach. What you should do is rake them several times throughout the fall as they fall, aerate and overseed your lawn, then put down winter fertilzer. Hey, wait, I thought you were the one with the green thumb ...:) Bo
